Large birch bark container to put my toiletry kit in. I have decided that this is all of the space I am allotting o modern items, example toothbrush, medicine and deodorant.

I went to a class at Pennsic on Viking Hiking. It was really cool. I took a lot of notes and pictures. I really want to go on a Viking Hike, well an Anglo-Saxon Hike (but that does not sound as cool.) I have been slowly gathering the bits and pieces I need to make a kit. I am a long way off in being able to go on a hike, but I can dream. Here are the pieces I have gathered (not including clothing because that is easy.)
