It seems like yesterday that my children were this size. William went to his first event in a laundry basket. Now he no longer needs a car seat and takes up a lot more room. This page has a bunch of tips and tricks for surviving an event with young children. I am a firm believer in hand-me-down clothing. You will see my children and half of our local Barony wearing the same clothes. I make clothes to last and most of these clothes are still around. It is fun to remember when that outfit used to fit your child. The only problem I have found is I tend to look after any children wearing garb that I have made. This can make for a long day, when not all of the children are yours.
