I have redrafted the pattern several times and made several mock ups.\u00a0 By the end of this project I will have 3 sets of patterns. The <em>Tudor Child<\/em> book does not use American children for their models.<\/p>\n<p>On the plus side my son seems happy to wear a doublet that looks like his fathers&#8217;. He will happily unbutton the top three buttons and pull the garment over his head, this is not the way I anticipated the garment to be treated. His doublets should have sleeves but Virginia summers are too warm.
